Cement Fibre panels, with an A2 fire-rating, are a good option for new-build and refurbishment projects
A2O have worked with supply chain partners Marley Equitone and Cembrit to provide Cement Fibre rainscreen solutions across all sectors of the industry. Due to the structural capabilities of the panels there is the option to install very large format panels. Panel are cut by our fabricators off-site and almost any shape is an option – architects often stretch these possibilities to the limit!
Mounting options including face-fixed rivets and secret-fix undercut anchors. A2O design an adjustable aluminium support system as part of a ventilated rainscreen to support the Cement Fibre panels. Movement in the building and thermal expansion of the backing rails are key considerations, as fibre cement panels are very stable.
Equitone is a through-coloured façade panel. It can be ordered in a variety of finishes including flat, textured and grooved and carries an A2 fire rating.
Cembrit panels are available in through-colour or with a water-based acrylic surface coating. Their A2 fire rating and vast range of finishes make these a popular option in the industry
